Ngong Road Children’s Foundation operates under four principles. One of our principles is leverage where we partner with corporates and community to achieve our mission.
Bimeda: Bimeda is a global manufacturer and distributor of veterinary pharmaceuticals and animal health products. Six children are fully sponsored by Bimeda. Several volunteers from Bimeda are deeply involved with our program including Chris Adams (wife of the Managing Director of Bimeda) who is volunteering for the next three years with Ngong Road Children’s Foundation.
Tile and Carpet Center: This is one of Kenya’s premier suppliers of building &interior finishing products. This company has supported our annual summer camp by providing dry foods for feeding the children at camp.
Kim-Fay: Kim-Fay East Africa Ltd based in Nairobi, Kenya, specializes in the manufacture & marketing of personal care, tissue, & hygiene products. They have been a partner of the Ngong Road Children’s Foundation since its inception by donating products to the program and its families. They have also donated towards our annual Christmas family’s food aid appeal.
Karibu Loo: Karibu Loo is a portable toilet rental business that offers high-quality portable toilets for short-term and long-term sanitation needs in Nairobi. All profits from this sanitation business go to fund education and support for children in the slum of Dagoretti whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS through the auspices of the Ngong Road Children’s Foundation.
Digital Divide Data: We are a social mission partner of Digital Divide Data. Since the beginning of 2013, some of our secondary school graduates have become candidates for their program which provides both employment and support for online learning at universities.
Kivuli Dispensary Center: NRCF provides basic health care support to the children in the program. We are partnering with these health facilities where they treat our children and bill us.
Equity Afia: NRCF is also partnering with Equity Afia to provide basic health care support to the children in the program. Students get treated and we’re billed at the end of each month.
Braeburn School: Braeburn group of schools supports us with donations such as end-of-year Christmas food stuff and general food aid for our students and parents and also books and other resources.
Lido Nation: Lido Nation funded a blockchain lab that is within our office spaces. The lab has supercomputers that our Tech graduates access during mentorship on web development and blockchain by Lido Nation.
St Joseph Church/Health Center: St. Joseph is another medical center that NRCF is partnering with to provide basic health care support to the children in the program. Students get treated and we’re billed at the end of each month.
